All our socks are designed and made in South Korea, where “Sock Art” is one of the most lively mediums for expression and creativity.
Myles Kirk-Gushowaty and Rachel Stern, the founding members of The Sock Market, spent a number of years in South Korea, where they, along with their friends, spent countless hours collecting, trading and coveting all of their favorite Korean socks. Upon their departure they discovered that a life devoid of cute, funny, sometimes weird but always colorful socks was dull and listless, and The Sock Market was born.
